We set off from Gozzano, near the area of the Bemberg company where we can easily find a parking space. We head towards Pogno and Valsesia, but at the roundabout we turn right in the direction of San Maurizio d'Opaglio.

We pass San Maurizio continuing towards Alzo in Pella. At the roundabout under the Madonna del Sasso cliff, we keep to the left and continue along via Cave.

Once past the village of Alzo, the road begins to climb, leading first to Cesara and then through Nonio and Brolo. Now we descend towards the village of Omegna, first reaching the lakeside and then the bridge near the Town Hall. We continue past the bridge and turn right onto Lungolago Buozzi. Shortly after the hospital we turn right and follow the signs for Borca.

Now a long flat stretch along the lake awaits us: we head towards Pettenasco and then up towards Orta. At the roundabout at the entrance to Orta we go straight on in the direction of Gozzano: a last stretch leads us just above the Lido of Buccione. From here we continue on a flat stretch to our arrival point near Bemberg.
