Description

Switch off for two days to savour the scent of mountain cheeses, discover the secrets of the local cuisine, and the beauties of the area with a day on an e-bike, in close contact with nature.


Schedule

Day 1

Arrival by your own means in the late morning in Pamparato, check in to the hotel and tour of the ripening cheeses. Cheese tasting with a glass of Piedmontese wine at Locanda del Mulino.
In the afternoon visit to the Castello Reale di Val Casotto.
Followed by a guided tour of the Chapel of San Bernardo (Pamparato) known for its perfectly preserved 15th century frescoes and a visit to the workshop of the Biscottificio di Pamparato.
A la carte dinner at Locanda del Mulino.

Day 2

After breakfast, transfer by own vehicle to Garessio and meeting with the cycling tour guide. E-bike excursion in Val Tanaro with departure and arrival in Garessio.
Ring tour from 10 am to 4.30pm - Garessio – Ormea (cycle path)
Departure with a visit to the medieval village, along the cycle path on the right bank of the Tanaro river we will reach Ormea, a beautiful mountain village. After visiting the historic centre, lunch at a restaurant.
Return to Garessio, again on the cycle path.
