Highlights and tour details

The itinerary has been divided into three parts with reference to the northern, central and southern areas of the region for practical reasons of managing the data and the information of such a long track. The section of the centre of Piedmont starts from stage 27 that takes from the Rivetti Refuge to the Cervo Valley. You cross the Biella Pre-Alps, full of culture and faith-related testimonies, and then enter the Province of Turin from the Dora Baltea Canavese, after a short passage into the Aosta Valley. You cross the Chiusella Valley and arrive in the Soana Valley crossing the area of the Gran Paradiso with several stops along the way. Having left the Park, you cross the Lanzo Valleys arriving in Susa, where you can follow the main track towards Salbertrand or climb in the direction of Meana di Susa. The variant reunites in Usseaux in the Chisone Valley from where the last part of the central sector starts with the crossing of the Germanasca Valley and finally the Pellice Valley that brings us close to the Monviso Massif.
