From the Bonasson bivouac you climb the L00 path to Alpe Mattignale and, with a very steep final stretch you reach Lake Gelato and the homonymous Bocchetta (2437 m). You descend on the opposite side following the L99 path with a first demanding stretch among stones and rocks that allows you to reach Alpe Fiesco at about 2070 m. From here you continue along the hillside, shortly arriving at Lake Matogno and then at Alpe del Lago where the Sironi Bivouac is located.
